WORKER’S COMPENSATION INSURANCE

Dent Impressions, Inc. understands the most important part of any joint business partnership is to protect your investment. We have taken the liberty of protecting your investment by being fully insured, to give our partners that peace of mind. The insurance coverage that dealerships and body shops tend to overlook is worker’s compensation. Insurance companies have caught onto this trend and some worker’s compensation auditors are now charging dealerships and body shops for coverage on their independent contractors. The reason for this is simple, if your independent contractor does not have coverage, they will bill you as if they are employees. After an average hail storm, this could mean that your business may have to pay thousands of dollars in coverage for uninsured contractors. Other insurance you should require is Liability Insurance and Garage Keepers Insurance. Dent Impressions, Inc. carries all varieties, thus alleviating you from the added expense of paying for insurance and further protecting your investment.
We understand the importance of pricing when fixing the vehicles on a dealership lot. However, our experience in the hail business has proven time and time again that the lowest bid usually creates collateral damage. At Dent Impressions, our bid on a dealership’s lot will start with competitive pricing. We are in the dent “removal” business, not the dent “improval” business. You can be assured that it will be done right the first time. We provide our dealers with lifetime written warranties. Dent Impressions will follow Manufacturer Service Repair Bulletins on PDR, so the manufacturer warranty will still be valid. We’re confident that Dent Impressions will have a lifetime partnership once a dealership experiences our service and professionalism, adds up the profits from retail work, and recognizes the growth in their customer base for future sales.
While pricing hail damage on a vehicle doesn’t sound like rocket science, it involves many steps. It’s directly related to the size of the dents, the number of dents, the type of vehicle needing repairs and the pricing guidelines of the insurance company that is compensating the owner for the repair. Our experience has shown that quality is directly related to pricing. As pricing goes down, so does quality. Buyer beware, large PDR companies are making backdoor deals with insurance companies to get them into a shop that they don’t service. In order to maintain a quality repair, these companies are offering body shops less of a discount and claiming that they brought all the business to the shop. Dealerships will lose money when they hire a dent company to help estimate lot vehicles after a hail storm, then are only paying them a flat rate to fix the vehicles. The point here is simple, why would this company work harder for you if they are receiving a flat fee to repair the vehicles? When dealerships and body shops make these agreements, they fail to realize that they are missing out on larger profits.
One of the most overlooked potential revenue streams for a dealership in the PDR business is retail hail repair. Dent Impressions’ National Hail Team has the ability to handle all aspects of retail hail repair. We can set up in the body shop if the dealership operates one. We’ve also operated through the service department, as applicable. If the dealership doesn’t have room to house us internally, we can bring our mobile body shop. This consists of a tent and trailer which we use as an office. We will provide the marketing tools necessary to increase the amount of traffic for hail repairs.
