Although owners and general managers expect up selling, we have found that service writers and estimators believe they are too busy to "up sell" a dent. Most door ding sales come when the customer asks the service writer or estimator about PDR. Dent Impressions understands that our service writers and estimators need some type of motivation to "up sell" dent repairs to their customers. Our rewards program recognizes their efforts and has proven to bring out their sales ability. The increases in door ding sales have proven this program to be a home run. As the sale of door dings continue to grow, so will the rewards for the people who are selling them. We look forward to creating competition among all of the service writers and estimators.
Results of the ProgramDent Impressions rewards program has finished its first year with a bang! As most locations were down for the year in their total sales, our program has actually helped increase up selling of PDR at our locations. During the first six months of the program, we have increased sales of 86% during the same time period as the previous year. The interesting part about the numbers is that the previous year happened to have a hail storm occurrence, which increased traffic for up selling opportunities. Furthermore, the increase in door ding sales happened during the recession. We would like to thank all of our service writers and estimators. We CAN NOT do it without you.
