Insurance Coverage

Dent Impressions understands that the most important part of any business to business partnership is to protect your investment. We have taken the liberty of protecting your investment by being fully insured while most of our competitors have no insurance. The biggest insurance that shops tend to overlook is worker's compensation insurance. Insurance companies have caught on to this trend and some workers' compensation auditors are now charging the body shops for coverage for independant contractors. Their reasoning is simple. If your independant contractor does not have coverage, they will treat them as an employee. After an average hail storm, this could mean that your shop may be required to pay $20,000 to $30,000 of coverage for uninsured contractors. Other insurance you should require is Liability Insurance and Garage Keepers Insurance. Dent Impressions carries all 3 varieties thus alleviating you from the added expense of paying for our insurance and further protecting your investment.
Lot Reconditioning.

We believe that keeping our dealerships' lots "dent free" will help the dealership sell vehicles. We believe that a dented vehicle gives a perspective buyer the impression that the vehicle wasn't cared for by the previous owner, thus making it harder to sell. It is no secret that a hail storm is the most profitable part of the paintless dent repair industry. Dent Impressions has molded our dealership program to maximize profits for both the dealership and Dent Impressions. With years of experience in the hail chasing business, we have learned many things that the majority of "local dent guys" will never learn. When hail hits your dealership, you will need this experience and professionalism to maximize the potential profits from hail damage. We have learned that this all starts years before the hail even hits. We have the plan for successful hail profits, we just need the phone call. The following provide some examples of our plan:
  1. Working With Your Insurance Company
    Every dealership has their own thoughts on letting their dent guy work with their insurance company when there is a hail loss. Our thought is simple; we help our dealerhsips get the money they are entitled to fix their cars properly. With Dent Impressions, you will have a licensed independant insurance adjustor workign with your insurance company on your behalf. We do not tell your insurance company how to do their jobm we are there to help them do their job and to oversee the claim on your behalf. We make sure every dent is counted and every dollar you have coming is paid to you.

    Most dealers think that they can pull one over on their insurance company but they fail to realize that their insurance policy clearly states how they will be compensated for a hail loss. One of our dealers in Nebraska called us to inform us that his lot was hit with very light hail. He insisted that we not come because he didn't think that it was bad enough to be over his insurance deductable. After five days of estimating his vehicles with his insurance company, he received checks totaling $119,000. We clearly made a difference in the amount he received.

  2. Retail Work

    One of the most overlooked potential revenue stream for a dealership in the PDR business is retail hail repair. Dent Impressions' National Hail Team has the ability to handle all aspects of retail hail repair. We can set up in the body shop if rhe dealer has one or we can operate through the service department, as applicable. If the dealership doesn't have room to house us internally, we can bring our mobile body shop which consists of a tent and trailer which we use as an office. To increase the amount of traffic for hail repair, the dealership can choose to have one of our insurance partners write their claims at your location.
