Insurance Coverage

Dent Impressions understands that the most important part of any business to business partnership is to protect your investment. We have taken the liberty of protecting your investment by being fully insured while most of our competitors have no insurance. The biggest insurance that shops tend to overlook is worker's compensation insurance. Insurance companies have caught on to this trend and some work. comp. auditors are now charging the body shops for coverage for independant contractors. Their reasoning is simple. If your independant contractor does not have coverage, they will treat them as an employee. After an average hail storm, this could mean that your shop may be required to pay $20,000 to $30,000 of coverage for uninsured contractors. Other insurance you should require is Liability Insurance and Garage Keepers Insurance. Dent Impressions carries all 3 varieties thus alleviating you from the added expense of paying for our insurance and further protecting your investment.
Our Technicians

We take pride in finding the best technicians in the business. Our hand-picked technicians are the highest paid in the industry and are held to standards that are set by all of our body shops. Our National Hail Team will handle the smallest jobs with the same service as a large hail storm. No job is too large or too small. We follow Manufacture Service Repair Bulletins and guidelines set by body shops and insurance companies. Our National Hail Team nets $400 - $500 more per vehicle than our competitors by writing an accurate and complete hail estimate. This is done by taking our time to find all of the damage on a vehicle and by having the experience of working with all insurance companies in a hail environment. All of our technicians are loyal to the work they have begun. You wont ever have to worry that, should a hail storm hit their home town, that they would leave your shop to run home to work. Although this happens every year to body shops, our technicians will stay until the job is done or until they are replaced. Marketing

Unlike most of our major competitors, we feel that setting up a retail location for PDR would compete with our loyal body shops. For example, one of our competitors currently advertises that they do minor paint and body work at their retail location in Eden Prairie, MN. We believe that this is directly competing with the body shops that they service. We believe in directing our customers to the body shops that we do business with and, thereby, considering our loyal body shops to be our "retail location". We are always trying to maximize profits for both us and our body shop partners. In order to do so, we are currently employing the following techniques to drive more customers to our body shop partners:

    Our state of the art web site is just the beginning in bringing customers to our business partners. We promote our web site in yellow page ads, newspaper ads, television commercials, web search engine optimization, and as a sponsored link on google. Our Repair Facility Locator shows our customers and visitors to our site where to bring their car to receive Dent Impressions' services. After our customer enters their location, a page listing the Dent Impressions partner locations closest to their search criteria is listed. These listing feature your shop's name, address, phone number, a link to a map to your location and a link to your website. We are also very excited to be the first dent company to have Online Estimating as a feature on our website. With this feature, our customers will be able to estimate everything from door dings to hail damage. After a customer inputs their personal information and damage information, an estimate will be available for the customer to print. The customer's information contact is saved within our database for future marketing purposes. During the review estimate step of the process, our Repair Facility Locator will find the nearest Dent Impressions location and direct them to it.

  2. In Store Videos
    Body shops and PDR technicians know that a hail storm is the best way to make money in the industry. However, many fail to realize that a successful hail storm starts years before the hail actually falls. At Dent Impressions, we realize that every door ding we fix is building a foundation to the large hail storm. Unlike most of our competitors, we want more $75.00 dents to be sold to get the public aware that PDR is offered in our shops. We are in a time where estimators are too busy to up sell a dent unless the customer asks about it. Dent Impressions' solution to selling more dent repairs is our innovative In Store Video. In this video, we show how all types of dents happen to a vehicle. After the damage happens to our project car, we have it pulling into your location and Dent Impressions coming to fix the dents. The purpose of this video is to help the customer remember about the dents in their vehicle. More importantly, the video is geared to have the customer think about your location the next time their vehicle sustains damage.

  3. Television Commercials
    Our newest form of marketing is televisions advertisements. During the summer months, we place strategically timed commercials on local networks to help drive business to our shops. Our customers will be directed to our web site for Online Estimating and our Repair Facility Locator which will, in turn, direct customers to your shop.   4. Insurance CAT Team Assistance
    Dent Impressions is continuing to work closely with insurance companies and their CAT teams. Our Insurance Program serves the purpose to help insurance companies with their CAT team development. In this program we offer CAT location assistance. We offer assistance to place insurance companies in our body shops that want to offer their space in the even of a catastrophic hail storm. Dent Impressions and the body shop benefits from the increase in traffic. The insurance company benefits from having their CAT location at a fixed location. As we all know, our industry is controlled by insurance companies. We believe that working closely with insurance companies. We believe working closely with insurance companies gives us a competitive advantage that enhances our relationships with insurance companies.

  5. Rewards Program for Estimators
    Dent Impressions understands that our body shop estimators need some type of motivation to up sell dent repairs to their customers. Developing a shop into a known PDR location comes over years of selling it. Our marketing program does accelerate this process but our estimators are the key to the success of the program. Our rewards program recognizes the efforts of our estimators and, hopefully, brings out the sales ability in them. Estimators can log in to our website and see how they rank among all of our estimators. We have monthly, quarterly, and yearly awards for those who excel in sales. Hail sales are not included in the contest in fairness to shops not near a hail storm.
